While the world is focused on the drama of Barack Obama?s nomination as the Democratic candidate for president, there is furious lobbying and political business going on everyday away from the lenses of TV cameras and out of earshot of pundits discussing unity and polling data. Travel is a big part of this lobbying effort. The backrooms, luxury suites and convention floor have their share of folk who are using this opportunity to bend the ears of lawmakers and staffers who may be shaping futur
Back at the hotel, I took a few moments to freshen up and then headed off for the convention. I had missed the last shuttle bus for delegates and so had to make my way by light rail and foot. Although I didn?t catch up with any Kansas delegates, I quickly identified some other delegates (all of us readily identifiable by our green floor passes dangling from the lanyards around our necks). First off, Aion.OnlineWelten PMed me an article and a video they made. I have a similar video I need to edit and upload, but I don't have the time to do so just yet. I will though, promise. It needs a ton of editing, however, to take out some things you guys don't need to see. ;) Second, I need to type up an article about my hands-on impressions of AION, something more detailed than the journals I wrote during CBT3. Again, I don't have the time for this just yet. I'm planning on typing it up
